Lightest 9mm handguns, by measurement condition

There is no single lightest-9mm ranking this directory can honestly publish, so there are three. Manufacturers weigh their pistols under different conditions and say so in different amounts of detail: some publish a figure without a magazine, some with an empty magazine fitted, and some publish one number without stating whether a magazine is included. Sorting all of them into one column would rank a bare pistol against one with a magazine in it and present the difference as weight.

Read this group on its own terms: These makers publish a single weight without saying whether a magazine is included. The ranking within this group is like for like in kind — every figure here carries the same silence — but the absolute condition is unknown, so these figures should not be read against the two groups above.

How this ranking is built: Each ranking below covers only records published under one condition, so the comparison within a group is like for like. A record appears in more than one ranking where its manufacturer publishes more than one figure — Glock states both a without-magazine and a with-empty-magazine weight for most of its pistols, so those records are ranked in both groups, each time under the figure belonging to that group. Figures are never converted between conditions: the difference a magazine makes is not a constant, and inventing one would be exactly the kind of derived value this directory does not publish. Only source-verified records appear, every figure is the manufacturer's published one shown in both unit systems, and values marked were converted by this directory from the system the source published.
