Glock G44

Glock lists the G44 as a Standard .22 LR Safe Action pistol built on a hybrid steel-polymer slide, with a 15-round standard magazine, interchangeable backstraps and an adjustable rear sight.

Scope note: The directory's first rimfire.

"Rimfire" was added to the family list for it (user decision 2026-08-12) rather than filing it under Other chamberings, which covers centrefire cartridges outside the 9mm core and Slimline lines. Glock publishes no generation label — its page title, heading and header chip all read simply "G44" — so none is recorded, following the G47 precedent; the g44-v page is out of scope under the V-model decision. Classification conflicts within the product page itself: its structured size-class label reads Standard, while its own overview calls the G44 "a compact size pistol". The directory follows the structured label and normalizes it to full-size, as the G21 record does for the same conflict — worth knowing that the G44's published dimensions match the compact G19 frame, but the directory does not reclassify a model on its measurements. No owner's manual supports this record: the G44 is absent from the G17–G48 manual, and the only G44 manual Glock hosts is a G44 V edition that contains no technical-data table at all. Glock publishes no launch release for the G44 either — both the live set and the Web Archive captures of each press-release path were checked on 2026-08-12 — so year introduced is unrecorded. Glock's caliber row reads "22 LR"; the directory records .22 LR. Slide finish is unrecorded: the page describes a hybrid steel-polymer slide, which is construction rather than a finish.

Verification boundary: Published technical data are rounded, may not reflect manufacturing tolerances, and may change without notice. MSRP is not recorded: most cited product pages do publish a price, but it changes without notice and independently of the specification, so this directory has no field for it and the row stays blank rather than carrying a figure that would silently go stale. Values marked ≈ were converted by this directory from the unit system the source published; the unmarked figure in the same row is the published one.
Evidence tiers backing this record: Manufacturer. Unmarked values come from manufacturer documentation; any value drawn from a lower tier is labeled inline with that tier. Where two sources disagreed, the higher tier was recorded and the disagreement noted.

Common questions

Answered from this record's cited fields only. Where a manufacturer publishes nothing on a subject, the question is not asked rather than answered with a blank.

01What caliber is the Glock G44?

The Glock G44 is chambered in .22 LR. Glock writes it as 22 LR. Ammunition should match the exact chambering marked on the firearm.

02How many rounds does the Glock G44 hold?

Glock lists a 15-round standard magazine for the G44. Glock also lists 10-round capacity as optional. These are magazine capacities; a round carried in the chamber is not counted here.

03What is the barrel length of the Glock G44?

Glock lists a barrel length of 102 mm / 4.02 in.

04What are the dimensions of the Glock G44?

Glock publishes 185 × 32 × 128 mm / 7.28 × 1.26 × 5.04 in (height: including magazine). Any measurement basis shown is the manufacturer's own qualifier; where none is shown, the manufacturer states none.

05How much does the Glock G44 weigh?

Glock publishes 358 g / 12.63 oz without a magazine; 415 g / 14.64 oz with an empty magazine fitted. These are different measurement conditions and are not interchangeable.

06What size class is the Glock G44?

Glock lists the G44 as Standard. This directory normalizes that to its full-size frame class, so records from different makers can be grouped; the manufacturer's own wording is kept alongside it.

07Is the Glock G44 striker-fired?

Glock publishes "Safe Action" as its own name for the action and does not classify an ignition type for the G44. This directory records the manufacturer's wording and leaves the ignition field empty rather than inferring a classification the source does not state.

08What is the trigger pull on the Glock G44?

Glock lists 26 N / ≈5.85 lb. A published figure is a specification rather than a measurement of any individual firearm.

09Does the Glock G44 have a warranty?

Glock states: One year from original purchase by the initial consumer; regional terms apply. Terms are as published at the date this record was checked and may vary by region.
