Classification conflicts between Glock's own sources: the product page's size-class label and overview both read Subcompact, while the January 2024 launch release calls the G29 Gen5 "a compact pistol". The directory follows the structured size-class label. Optional magazine capacities are not listed. Two measurements also disagree between manufacturer sources, found on 2026-08-12 while verifying the G36 from the same manual page: the owner's manual (p. 57) gives overall length 174 mm / 6.85 in and height 113 mm / 4.45 in, where the product page gives 176 mm / 6.93 in and 115 mm / 4.53 in.
